Borough Market is one of the largest and oldest markets in London. Essentially a food market which prides itself on good quality produce, you'll find it worth a visit, even if you're not there for grocery shopping but simply just to pig yourself out. Afterall, Borough Market's located in central London and easily accessible via public transport. (Right next to London Bridge Station) All the more worthy of a visit!

If you are a fresh produce freak, you'll totally go wild here.

Here you'll find all kinds of stalls selling dairy, fruit, vegetables, meat, poultry, fish, seafood, spices, condiments and even confectionery. It's a haven for those who go for quality produce. Even more so for the food lovers because they sell ready to eat food there too! We definitely stuffed ourselves silly because we couldn't resist trying everything, despite the weight of it all being in pounds.

Here I am, in Borough Market getting all excited to start eating!

Organic fruit and being totally proud of it. Well done, Ted!

Ted's Honey at 6 pounds a jar. Not really pricey for organic food.

Ooooh, Cheese!

3 pieces is just greedy, remember that!

 Huge ass piece of cheese.

Super cute moment. I've always thought it was sweet of Dads to carry their kids high up on their shoulders like this. For some reason it seemed to say 'Hey, look World, this is my baby girl'.

Bread that didn't look yummy. Sorryyyy.

Here we got to the food section, which was the highlight because we weren't there for grocery shopping. I'd say here's where the bulk of the people are because the smell just automatically attracts you. It's also hard to not wanna eat when people are walking about with food in their hands and a look of satisfaction on their faces while munching away.

Okay, this Paella I must recommend. It was so yummy with it's buttery yellow rice and clams so flavourful you can't wait to wolf it all down. Probably not as good as the authentic Spanish ones but it was good enough.

We also went for the Calamari which was sorta expensive. I can't remember how much it was exactly but I remember feeling the pinch. It was okay. You can't really experiment much with Calamari can you?

We got it here at Shetlands Salt and Pepper Chilli Squid.

Fruit juice stall was bustling with business. Everyone wanted fruit juice because it was the only stall selling drinks right in the middle of all the food stalls.

Smart move!

ZOMG, I ain't eating any rabbit meat!

Why is this piece of dried meat named Jesus?

Friend and I couldn't resist raw organic milk. Selling at 1 pound a cup, I was like why not!
It tasted light and didn't have the slightest bit of raw taste lingering in your mouth. I liked it but regretted it shortly after because it made me so full.

Would have been better if we'd shared the cup so we have more space in our tummy for more food!

Handsome chap doing his thang.

We crossed over to the bakery/pastry side of the market and here's where all the ladies went out of control.

Pretty looking cakes, who cares about its price or the calories. hahaha

This Pear, Parsnip, Sea-salted Caramel sliced cake was da bomb! A little too sweet for one but nice to share. 3 girls easily finished it.

The cheesecakes look ordinary but let me tell you, they're NOTHING BUT ORDINARY. We tasted heaven with just one mouth each! My friend got the blueberry cheesecake and I'm not a blueberry fan (in fact I hate anything to do with berrries) but the cheesecake simply melted in my mouth. IT WAS SO GOOD.

MUST TRY!

This looks good to me too.

5.50 pounds.   >.<

What happens to Roast Hog after you order it.

How come not like when it was placed on the stick? Felt a bit cheated and the meat is all dry and tough after they fry it.

I don't understand why don't they just serve it grilled.

Cheesy Baked Potatoes.

There was a long queue for this so we thought to give it a try. It was such a huge portion but to be honest, the cheese didn't melt onto the baked potatoes as they should have. The cheese was chewy so it felt like we were eating 2 separate things at once, the cheese and then the potatoes.

Nah. I've had better cheesey baked potatoes elsewhere.

Cheese Toast Bread which I have no idea why my friend bought because we were so insanely full by then and she had to go buy bread, of all things.

Obviously wasn't a very good buy. Not tasty.

Even though the food towards the end wasn't that good, the fresh produce and pastry section made up for it. Borough Market was fun and happening but not overly crowded so we really enjoyed ourselves walking around looking at the various stalls and wondering what's worthy of buying. It was fun buying food and sharing with friends, just to get a taste of it.

We covered the entire market in about 2 hours and settled lunch just by munching on everything here and there.

It's right next to the London Bridge so we walked over and spent the rest of the day sight-seeing.

I'd recommend Borough Market since it's easily accessible and you don't have to waste an entire day there.

Go with empty stomachs or it wouldn't be fun!

Had a great time, thanks for the company you guys!
